On June 28, São José dos Pinhais, next to the capital Curitiba, will host the K-1 World Max - South-American Round, which will feature a GP featuring eight athletes up to 70kg, with all the fights on the same night, and which will give the winner a chance to compete in the final phase of the tournament in Japan at the end of the year. The event will feature an 8-man tournament in the 70kg division to determine the participant to the 2025 K-1 World Max Tournament in Japan.
