Harlem Eubank faces David Papot tonight (Saturday, July 18) at Copper Box Arena in London, England. They clash for the vacant IBF International welterweight title.

Eubank (22-1, 9 KOs) of the UK comes off a decision victory over Josh Wagner last November, bouncing back from a loss to Jack Catterall in mid-2025.

Papot (30-1-1, 5 KOs) of France returns to the ring after suffering a decision defeat to Liam Paro last September.
The 12-round bout headlines the latest edition of MF Pro.

The undercard includes:

Kieran Molloy (14-0, 7 KOs) defends his IBF European welterweight title against Sean Noakes (12-0, 5 KOs).
Codie Smith (9-0-1, 1 KO) and Ryan Griffiths (8-2-3) square off at super featherweight.
Christian Bozzia (7-0) faces Kurtis Wiggins (5-0-1) for the vacant Commonwealth International featherweight title.

Papot Beats Eubank In Knockdown Fest

Thirty five year old Frenchman David Papot came back from his only career loss (to current IBF champ Liam Paro) and beat Harlem Eubank on British soil.

A beautiful left cross from the Southpaw Papot cut and dropped Eubank in the second. Eubank arose on shaky legs but survived the round. In the fourth, Eubank was cut by another left hand above the right eye.

Papot suffered a cut above his own right eye in the sixth round. Eubank surged with a beautiful left hook in the seventh that dropped Papot. Papot rose unfazed and held his own for the remainder of the round.

By the ninth, Eubank was cut under his left eye for a total of three gashes overall. Papot had a golden chance in the tenth, as he dropped Eubank twice more- the first one with a lead left cross and the second time, seemed to be the result of a Eubank missed punch with threw him off balance but the ref counted it anyway.

Papot used his experience to counterpunch his way to a tactical yet hard fought victory. The scores were as follows: 113-111, 115-110 and 115-109 all for the new IBF International welterweight champion- David Papot, who improves to 30-1-1, 5 KOs. Eubank falls to 22-2, 9 KOs. His previous loss was two fights ago to current WBA champ, Jack Catterall. Papot called for a rematch with new IBF champ Liam Paro. This win and the IBF International belt should get Papot back in the IBF rankings to enable that fight to happen.
