Brazilian Donny Matos earned a unanimous decision over Mexico City’s Roman Cordova in featherweight action. Matos dropped Cordova twice, leading two judges to score it 50-43 and one 49-44, all in favor of the hard-hitting Brazilian. Luis Castaneda sent Rudo Tovar to the canvas twice in the fourth round of their middleweight bout, leading to the unanimous decision victory for the Pachuca fighter. Two judges scored it 49-44 and one had it 48-45, all for Castaneda, who improves to 1-0. The action-packed middleweight fight between Puebla’s Mario Martinez and Guadalajara’s Sergio Perez was declared a majority draw. Martinez recorded the sole knockdown of the night in the first round. Two judges scored it 47-47, while one had it 48-46 in favor of Martinez.
Puebla’s Roberto Sinko picked himself up off the canvas in the fourth round to earn a split decision over Mexico City’s Beto Saniba in their back-and-forth lightweight matchup. Both fighters were making their debut with BKFC.
Debuting Mexico City bantamweight prospects Juan Campos and Jose Lopez fought to a split draw. The scorecards were 48-46, 46-48, 47-47. The lone knockdown of the fight took place in the first round and was at the expense of Campos.
In the first fight of the night, Nicolas Diaz defeated Marcelo Antonio Perez via unanimous decision in their battle of debuting Puebla flyweight prospects. All three judges scored it 50-45 in favor of Diaz.
