The qualifying round will be a one-day tournament with four competitors, with the winner advancing to "ECO Shinrai Service Co., Ltd. PRESENTS K-1" to be held at Marine Messe Fukuoka Hall B on Monday, July 20th (national holiday). Two of the four competitors - the winner of the Greek and Italian qualifying rounds, Lorenzo Di Vara (Italy/The King Fight Club/Team Di Vara), the winner of the Spanish and Australian qualifying rounds - will earn the right to compete in the FINAL16. The FINAL16 will be the opening match of "K-1 WORLD MAX 2026", which will be held at the National Stadium Second Gymnasium in Tokyo on Saturday, September 12th.

The pairings for this year's Greek qualifying tournament have been decided as follows: Christos Mikhartsos (Greece/BULLS FIGHT ACADEMY) vs. Achilleas Karapiperis (Greece/KRITIKOS CAMP), and Pantelis Samprovalakis (Greece/DIAMOND CAMP) vs. Nikolaos Livanos (Greece/TSOTRAS KICKBOXING CLUB).文章源自武享吧-https://hula8.net/k1/77160.html

Mihartzos, who will be competing in the first semi-final match, is a 20-year-old THE CORE FIGHT GAMES lightweight (-71kg) champion who is known for his flying knee kicks and leaping long hooks.文章源自武享吧-https://hula8.net/k1/77160.html

His opponent, Karapipelis, is the WAKO-PRO World Light Middleweight (-71.8kg) interim champion. He enters the ring wearing an iron mask and uses a compact, sharp left hook and a long right straight as his weapons, switching his stance from left to right. He is the "Iron Mask Warrior" with a record of 9 wins (4 KOs) and 5 losses in 14 fights.文章源自武享吧-https://hula8.net/k1/77160.html

Michaltsos is still inexperienced with 2 wins (1 KO) and 2 losses in 4 fights, so there is a good chance that the experienced Karapipelis will be able to land accurate attacks.文章源自武享吧-https://hula8.net/k1/77160.html

The other semi-final bout will feature Nikolaos Livanos, a rising star with an undefeated record of 5 wins (2 KOs) in 5 fights. Livanos is the Cage Survivor lightweight (-70kg) champion, and although he is small for this weight class at 167cm tall, he is a "quick-shooter" who unleashes a barrage of left and right hooks.

His opponent, Pantelis Samprovalakis, is the MTGP Intercontinental Super Welterweight (-70kg) champion and "Greek handsome dandy." His specialty is steadily wearing down his opponents with hooks followed by calf kicks.

The height difference between the two fighters is 11cm, with Samprovalakis being the bigger factor, so if Livanos's jumping punches land, things could develop into an interesting fight.

There seems to be a lot of punchers in this Greek qualifying round, making it a close race where it's impossible to predict who will come out on top.

I'm so happy to be able to fight in Japan, and I can't wait to step into the K-1 ring. See you all in Japan!"

■ Comments from Sofia Tsollakidou (7th Krush Women's Flyweight Champion, Greece)

"It's a pleasure to meet you all in Greece. This time, we participated in one of Greece's largest tournaments, held in collaboration with K-1. It was a fantastic event with many strong fighters and a large crowd."

And my teammate, Karapiperis, won the tournament. He will be competing in a tournament in Japan in September. He's working very hard, so please cheer him on.

He feels the same way, and we are all aiming for the top. It is my dream to win the K-1 belt. Right now, after my last defeat in K-1, I am working hard and training every day so that I can come back stronger. I really want to continue fighting in K-1 because it is the best event. I am looking forward to seeing you all again in Japan."
