On June 21, 2025, the Yokohama Buntai will pulse with energy as RISE and Glory unite to present a landmark in the sport: Glory 101: Last Featherweight Standing Opening Round / RISE World Series Yokohama 2025. It’s a collision of worlds, cultures, and striking philosophies, all under one roof, in one night of unforgettable combat.

At the heart of the spectacle lies the launch of Last Featherweight Standing, a fierce elimination campaign that draws battle lines between East and West. This inaugural clash of the 65-kilogram titans opens the tournament that will see twelve elite athletes from each promotion vying for supremacy. Representing Japan, Thailand, Morocco, France, Spain, the Netherlands, and Romania, these warriors step into the ring not just to advance, but to declare dominance on the global stage.

Alongside the tournament’s opening salvos, Yokohama will witness a coronation, as Japan’s own Ryujin Nasukawa faces Spain’s Hamada Azmani with the inaugural ISKA K-1 World Strawweight Championship on the line. It’s a high-stakes summit between two technicians whose precision and flair have electrified fans from Tokyo to Madrid.

Further raising the stakes, the RISE 61.5 kg World Series Semifinals push forward, with Japan’s finest, Kan Nakamura and Hyuma Hitachi, confronting elite challengers in Kasahara and China's Yuan Pengjie. The winners move one step closer to World Series glory, and a spotlight that stretches beyond Asia.

From the razor-thin margins of flyweight precision to the surging power of the 67.5 kg super fights, every bout on this card is a statement. Fighters don’t come to Yokohama on June 21 to participate, they come to seize legacies, to carve their names into the memory of the sport, and to ignite a new era of global kickboxing.

All fighters took to the scales earlier today in Yokohama near Tokyo in Japan and made weight for their respective bouts tomorrow.

On the GLORY side of the bracket this Saturday, the explosive & unpredictable Ayoub Bourass (15-2, 4 KO) comes up against Spanish heavy hitter Aitor ‘Currito’ Ibanez (27-7-1, 13 KO) while French KO artist Bobo Sacko (78-6-1, 30 KO) faces ‘The Diamond’ Jan Kaffa (20-5, 7 KO). 

On the RISE side, Japan’s Hiroki Kasahara (36-7-1, 16 KO) takes on the super experienced Thai fighter Lompetch (122-22-1, 87) and Japan’s Sumiya Ito (7-5, 5 KO) clashes with Moldova’s Petru Morari (8-3, 2 KO). 

RISE flyweight champion and younger brother of Tenshin, Ryujin Nasakuwa (12-2, 6 KO), battles with Spanish Moroccan Hamada Azmani (19-8-1, 3 KO) for the inaugural RISE ISKA world strawweight title in the main event.

Elsewhere on the card, fans can watch two fights from the RISE 61.5 kg tournament as KO artists Kan Nakamura (17-5, 12 KO) & Yuki Kasahara (32-4, 16 KO) collide and Hyuma Hitachi (13-5-1, 9 KO) meets Yuan Pengjie (40-2) in a Japan vs. China match-up.

The event will start at 9:30am CET | 8:30am BST | 3:30am ET | 12:30am PT.

About the Last Featherweight Standing Tournament:
Over the course of a year, twelve of the best GLORY featherweights will compete opposite twelve of the best RISE featherweights in a series of knockout bouts until one fighter is crowned the Last Featherweight Standing.
